Skinny Jeans Bad For Your Health

Wearing skinny jeans can be bad for your health. Although, they're the only reason I managed to stay in that school boy choir till I was 28.

According to a study tight jeans can leave you angry, aggressive and likely to punch someone if they don't bring you a steak. OK, that is a study I did of just one person. Clarkson's jeans seemed so small I'm sure they were meant for Richard Hammond.

But actual health experts have said that squatting in skinny jeans is a health risk. They reported the case of a 35-year-old woman who did it and couldn't walk again for 4 days. It's such a shame because when you squat in tight jeans it feels like they're taking the strain a bit. It's like resting a plate on your belly, it's perfect ergonomics.

The issue is that the denim cuts off circulation that can make your calves swell. You end up unable to walk, and even worse, you look like you were wearing boot cut jeans.

This modern day trend of wearing ever skinnier jeans is just a con, it was started by jeans companies because skinny jeans cost the same as flares but they need less fabric. They've tricked us into looking like we have tiny little legs all so they can get rich off jean profits. Tut, big denim, eh?

The paper about the 35-year-old woman who suffered the skinny jeans injury was published in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry.

Yep, Psychiatry. Because you'd have to be mad to wear them.
