Yes, it's a calendar of sexy cocks, and no, I won't tell you what I was Googling for when I found this story.
Fashion photographer Nathan Pask took photos of the cockerels in a variety of seductive and alluring poses, and the plan is for this calendar to make the hens happier. It may well do, but it'll also make them hornier. They'll be trying to get the eggs back up there.
Some shots include cockerels in bubble baths or sat in a bed of rose petals. I guess it makes sense, it's like when men have a picture of sexy women hanging up at the car garage or even in a local pub, only these hens don't have to eat their way through 24 packs of KP nuts before they can see some boobs.
In the calendar, Mr June is seen preening himself on a stack of straw. Oh, you may think you find that attractive hens, but if you actually went out with a cockerel who spends more time getting ready than you do, you'd soon get bored.
Veteran hen keeper Jean-Paul Michalski said: "Hens are actually very visual creatures so that's when we decided to create the first ever cockerel calendar just for hens and see whether it made them happier."
Sadly the turkey calendar wasn't quite as successful, because they looked through it, saw Christmas was coming, and all got depressed.
